Elena Steiner paints predominantly large sized pictures in acrylic.

Grown up in a small village in Czech Republic.

A central topic in the large sized acrylic painting is humans. Closed connected is the question itself, what does is mean to live today. Numerous aspects of these “Every Day Life OF Common People”show up in the pictures of Steiner as frozen in one film-quietly, in superslow motion. The ordinary, more however still the tragic and overturned scenes play towards in the same piece, drama and decoration, decadence and style emerge in views.
